...MoreThis paper is an content analysis of Chinese newspaper websites. It's interesting to see how technology helps old media to reach online audience and how they adjust their journalistic practice, which also would influence readers.
I am now a PhD student of Journalism and Mass Communication at University of Florida, where I got my master's degree. I received my BA from Zhejiang University, a top-three university in China. After that, I worked for the Chinese government for one year.
I did my thesis of journalist blogs in China. I presented my paper, an analysis of the influence between reader blogs and newspapers, at the Expanding the Definition of Convergence and Integration colloquium, in Lubbock, Texas, last year.
My research interests include online journalism, new media and technology, media effects and global communication.
