Summary
I have been engaged in research and development since joining the Scientific Instruments Research Association in November 1977. I set up my own design and consultancy business in 1991, which was incorporated in 1994 as Goodyer Scientific Instruments Ltd (GSI). I have also worked part-time for DeMontfort University since Jan 1995 training the engineers of tomorrow.
I specialise in the design of embedded instrumentation for measurement, automation and control; and have worked in range of market sectors including automotive, petrochemicals, process control and physiological devices.
