Between November 2003 and October 2004 did post-doctoral training in Child Studies Institute - IEC - at the University of Minho, Portugal, in which has deepened studies on the sociology of childhood and child's studies. In 2011, held a post-doctoral internship at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro under the supervision of Sonia Kramer. He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and co-editor of the online magazine Zero-to-Six (www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/zeroseis). It is guiding doctoral and master's degree at Postgraduate Program in Education at Federal University of Santa Catarina.
