He is a member of the Geographic Information System (GIS)and Environmental Studies Groups at the College. He has published several refereed articles in reputable journals in his field of study, Urban and Regional Planning. His research interests are in Urban Planning and Policies; Regional Development Disparities; and Comparative Urbanization. He earned his Ph.D. in 1987 from Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas, USA.
