  Working in India since 1991-92, I write poetry, children’s stories, short fiction and articles which have been published in newspapers and magazine. Having been an award winning architect and designer for 17 years, a trained dancer and vocal singer, I now enjoy translating these experiences into visual art and writing. I have completed an anthology of women’s poetry “Dancing feet & Blisters”, "Buzz in the hive and other poems" and my new collection "Not a word is heard" is soon being published by Poetrywala , Mumbai. A fable "Laali & Pankhru" is being published by Mapin, Ahmedabad, India. My art works have themes of space and peoples reaction to space and identity. I work in the medium of water-colour and inks on paper, acrylic on canvas and pen-n-ink line drawings. Having shown my art across India & in parts of USA. I Have been teaching Visual Arts to the students of a Liberal Arts college, Design college and an Arts university in India in classroom modules as well as workshop formats.
