She is now a Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia. Her previous position was Associate Professor and Head of Department of Philosophy at the University of Sydney. She has published numerous articles in these fields. Her most recent work is a book on ocean policy entitled: 'Who Rules the Waves? Piracy, Overfishing and Mining the Artctic' to be published by Pluto, U.K. She is very concerned about the state of the oceans and the possible impacts of global warming.
