...MoreDean L. Zeller is in the computer science Ph.D. program at Kent State University. He achieved his Masters of Science in computer science from Bowling Green State University in 1996, as well as his Bachelors of Science in mathematics and computer science in 1992. Dean has nine years of teaching experience in higher education, teaching educational technology, introductory programming classes, mid-level programming classes such as data structures and computer architecture, and up to advanced courses on compiler design, artificial intelligence, and computability theory. Dean also has two years of experience teaching mathematics to high- and middle-school students. He is president of the KSU chapter of ACM, webmaster of the KSU chapter of PME, and a member of the Web-based Mathematics Education research group. Dean’s research interests include: virtual worlds, bioinformatics, educational technology, and nursing informatics.
