...MoreDawn Bennett is a Professorial Research Fellow with Curtin University in Perth, Australia, where her research focus is the working lives and eco-nomic circumstances of creative artists and the development of identity among students and emerging professionals. She holds postgraduate degrees in education and music performance and has worked as a classical musician, teacher, researcher and manager. Dawn has published extensively in the areas of arts education, careers and the creative workforce, including fivemonographs and edited collections. She serves on several editorial boards including the International Journal of Music Education, and she is a Councillor with the Music Council of Australia.
