  Dr. Parr graduated from the University of Maryland with a Ph. D. in Social Welfare and has an MSW from the University of Georgia. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has practiced in Hampton Roads and overseas. Her clinical practice concentrated on helping victims of trauma.
