Danielle Schmidt graduated from the Nursing Education Program of Saskatchewan in spring 2012 as a Registered Nurse. She currently works at the Regina General Hospital as general surgery nurse. This fall she began her journey to complete her Masters degree in the area of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina with a focus on high school health education. In addition to health, sports has been a major focus of her life. She is currently finishing her 5th and last year of eligibility with the University of Regina Cougar Women’s Basketball Team, who has made it to the National Championships the last four out of five years.
