...MoreDaniel Labbato worked in the film and television industries for over 20 years as a gaffer, cameraman and editor before becoming a professor of communications and media at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Among other projects he produced the documentary "Changing Identities: A Story of Traumatic Injury and Art", narrated by Meryl Streep, which aired nationally on PBS in 2007. Professor Labbato received a BFA in Photography from Florida State University in 1986 and received an MFA in Inter-media Design from the Visual Research Laboratory program at SUNY New Paltz in 2005.
