...MoreDana Coester is an assistant professor in the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism. She is a former art director and contributor with Time Inc. Her research examines the future of storytelling with special interests in creative direction, visual narrative, multimedia, and all things experimental in media co-creation. Coester's creative direction and design has been honored as a 2009 Webby honoree for motion graphics and special effects, a gold and silver Telly, and Communicator Awards from the International Academy of the Visual Arts. Coester earned her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1993.
