As an educator, Professor Arnold lectures and teaches studio at undergraduate and graduate levels. His research reflects a holistic approach to the design process and includes: rapid manufacturing, the development of artifact documentation and knowledge management techniques within the design process, the cross-disciplinary application of design methodology in “non-design” fields, and integration of design methods within K-12 education.
