She lectures history of education, environmental education, science education at undergraduate and post-graduate level. She is a involved in SADC community projects, local domestic projects and Higher Education Links projects which forge links between tertiary education institutions in South Africa and internationally. Her academic research interests include oral history research, visual data analysis, critical thinking processes, continuing professional development and history in context.
