...MoreCandice Salyers is a choreographer and performer who creates intimate interactions with audiences, landscapes, and architectural spaces. As a solo performer, she creates kinetic installation pieces that juxtapose slow-moving body transformations with visual environments, both "natural" and constructed. She is also a Ph.D. candidate at Texas Woman's University where her research focuses on Environmental Philosophy and Dance. Recent publications include articles in Tanz, Bewegung, und Spiritualität (Henschel Verlag 2009) and “Proceedings from Sustainability, Ecology, and the Moving Body Conference” (Northumbria University, UK).
