Dr. Brown is a full-time professor and has been a significant
member of our department for a long time. After finishing his Ph.D.
from McGill University in 1969, he taught at BYU for 1 year and
then had the honor of receiving a fellowship from the National
Science Foundation (NSF) in Mathematical Psychology at University
of Michigan. He then came to BYU and has had a rich career
teaching, researching in a variety of areas with a focus in
Quantitative Psychology and Statistics, serving in various
administrative positions including Associate Chair of the Psychology
Department since 2009, publishing textbooks including the recent
publication as a co-author for Multivariate Analysis for the BioBehavioral
and Social Sciences.
