  The current research interest is on how to estimate the number of Leptospira interrogans which are given in the form of digitization of a video or electronic image captured through an optical microscope. It is focused on the development of (1) mathematical transformations that can be utilized to tranform a digital image into the frequency domain and (2) filtering algorithms that can be easily computed and applied, followed by return of the filtered image back to the spatial domain. Other research interests are Mathematical modeling : Industrial Engineering, Medical biology and Nanotechnology in drug delivery.
