Anne McMurray is Emeritus Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Griffith, and a member of our Research Centre for Clinical and Community Practice Innovation (RCCCPI). She is also Emeritus Professor of Nursing at Murdoch University, and a fellow of the Royal College of Nursing, Australia, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Her most notable achievement was being inducted as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2006.
Anne has undertaken a variety of leadership roles at Griffith and elsewhere including Head of School, and Faculty Dean. She has been involved in women’s leadership through the Women in Leadership program, the International Council of Nurses’ Leadership for Change program, and the Gold Coast Women at Work Leadership group. Her current role is as a staff mentor and postgraduate student supervisor in the School of Nursing and the Health Group.
