Andrew François is currently lead web designer and a part-time lecturer at the
Institute for Interactive Media and Learning, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He is also a Doctoral candidate investigating meaning and persuasion at the interface in interactive media.
As an art school graduate exploring film and video he went on to study animation at the prestigious Swinburne School of Film and Television in Melbourne in 1990. He has been involved in teaching and creating animation and interactive media ever since, with an emphasis upon interactive and online media. He has collaborated and exhibited with well known artists like Bruce Petty (animator and cartoonist) and Alyssa Rothwell (interactive media artist).
He was a co-participant in the New Talent Pavilion at MILIA'98 in Cannes France and a key team member in the award winning Stuff-Art99 online initiative with
War & Peace An experimental interactive online cartoon.
Less
