Amy Sodaro is a PhD candidate in sociology at the New School for Social Research. Her dissertation is on memorial museums of genocide and atrocity and examines how and why societies around the world increasingly use museums as a mechanism for coming to terms with past conflict, violence, and atrocity. Amy has also served as a consultant to the International Center for Transitional Justice's Memorials Project and is a Senior Program Associate at the Transregional Center for Democratic Studies at the New School.
