Almudena Ocaña Fernández is Universitary School Professor on Music Expression Didactics in the University of Granada, and teaches at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. She took her studies of Music Teacher in the University of Granada and she obtained the Extraordinary Prize in the End of the Degree to the best Expedient Record in the course 1999-2000. Also she is Piano Professor and LL.B in History and Science of Music (Musicology) by this University where she are doing her Ph.D. She is taking part as an active collaborator in the Researching Group Educational Development of didactics in the Andalusian Community (D.E.Di.C.A) (HUM- 742).
She has participate in diverse specialisation courses, so much national as international, within her knowledge area, and she has delivered papers to national and international congresses and symposia. She has several publications between books, articles and lectures about utility of Music Education to get a complete development in the children of the Primary School and the intercultural coexistence in the multicultural classrooms. She carries her main teaching activity out in the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Granada (Spain), where she teaching the subjects: Artistic Education and its Didactics and Music Education in the Special Education. His PhD is about Identity and professional development of the music teachers.
