Professor of Music at Benedictine Univeristy in Lisle, Illinois. Received degrees in music performance from the University of Illinois and The Juilliard School of Music. At Benedictine University became interested in religious aspects of the institution. Was requested by president and provost to create a central area by which the Catholic and Benedictine traditions and ideals of the institution could be maintained, assessed and further developed. Became first director of the Center for Mission and Identity in 2005. Has presented at many Catholic conferences, convocations and colloquiums and even began the Benedictine Pedagogy Conference which is now in its fourth year. Still maintains an active performing and teaching schedule. Currently working on book on Marian teachings of the Church and their associated religious pilgrimages with meditative recordings of newly commissioned works.
