Alice Cassidy, Ph.D. is a science educator, wildlife biologist and educational developer. Her biology and zoology degrees are from the University of Victoria, McGill University and the University of British Columbia (UBC). She has over 25 years of experience teaching, facilitating and writing about natural history, teaching and learning and professional development in higher education and in the community. She focuses on active pedagogies, sustainability education and leadership, and students as active collaborators. She is currently the Course Coordinator for Science 113 at UBC.
