Dr. Adam Selhorst, is an Assistant Professor who oversees Ashford University’s Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies as the program's Chair. With a unique background in environmental science and public policy, he holds his BA from Kenyon College in Biology, his MA from The Ohio State University in Public Policy and Management, and an MS and PhD in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University. Dr. Selhorst’s previous research has focused on urbanization and agriculture and their affects on global climate change. He has held graduate fellowships with the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Manoa, HI and the National Science Foundation; has been a lecturer in Biology at Leeward Community College in Pearl City, HI; and has been published in scientific journals and books.
