A. Bryan Endres is an Associate Professor of Agricultural Law in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois and the Director of the University's European Union Center. He also holds appointments with the Energy Biosciences Institute and the Business, Economics and Law program within the Institute for Genomic Biology. Current legal research interests include sustainable agriculture, renewable fuels, carbon sequestration, local food networks, agricultural biotechnology and intellectual property. Bryan has taught courses in Agricultural Law, Food Law, Biotechnology Law, Tax Policy, and most recently a new Renewable Energy Law course. He is a past Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association's Agricultural Law Section Council and was in 2008 elected to the Board of Directors of the American Agricultural Law Association.
