The main areas of his interest are on the method of teaching and learning of Islamic Education and educational technologies. His latest publication is an article entitled "Islamic education teachers' perceptions of teaching of akhlaq in Malaysian secondary schools" which has been published in the Journal of Moral Education, Vol. 36, No. 3, September 2007. He is also writing a book entitled "Islamic Education: methods of teaching an learning". Currently, he is carrying out a research which focuses on the development of a web for the teaching and learning of Islamic Education subject at the secondary school level. The aim of this project is to develop a web based portal that can provide relevant e-teaching and e-learning aids, list of experts, e-thesis, papers, journals, internet hyperlink and etc. for teachers and students in the field of Islamic education.
