From the tour guide: "I will offer you a premium experience of the Malmö city. A city that is built by workers and entrepreneurs. A city which was the capital of Sweden for 5 months, A city which was the epicentre of battles between Denmark and Sweden for close to about half a millennium. A city of thriving art and startup scene. I will walk you through the medieval cobblestones to the most modern sustainable urban neighbourhood. During the tour, you will hear the echos of seagulls that inspired Viking navigators to the present day, common man. You will get to walk in the alleys where the founding King of Sweden, Gustav Vasa walked and hear the story about why he stabbed a diplomat from Lubek (North German City). You will get a chance to learn about the common man's grocery shopping list, the linguistic, ethnic and the cultural diversity of Malmö. I will walk you from the modern architecture of 'Malmöhatten' to a gas station from the 1950s that inspired a PhD thesis. We can also have a short Swedish Fika in a cafe."

Talking Circles offer an opportunity to meet other delegates and engage in extended discussion about the issues and concerns they feel are of utmost importance to that segment of the Research Network. Participation is open, encouraged, and supported.
This will be held “live” via Zoom (time TBA).
