Health and Wellness Program for Occupational Therapy Graduate Students : Targeting Self Perceived Stress Levels and Occupational Balance

Abstract

This study outlines the development of an occupational therapy health and wellness program tailored for occupational therapy (OT) graduate students. The program focuses on addressing self-perceived stress levels and promoting occupational balance, employing a four-session framework derived from relevant literature. The sessions include topics of prioritization, organization, mindfulness strategies, and yoga. To assess the program’s impact, pre and post-tests utilize the Perceived Stress Scale and Occupational Balance Questionnaire. At present, the study is ongoing, with outcomes expected to contribute valuable insights into the effectiveness of the program in enhancing stress management and occupational balance among OT graduate students.
