Abstract

Smart Break is a product that came of our own problems at Raisoft LTD, a healthcare IT company, specialising in evidence-based solutions. We created a solution that helped our own workers become more energised and productive, while also treating the problems that come with sitting. Sedentary jobs and the health risks that follow them are the main driving forces that make Smart Break possible. By supplying a solution for workers to stay healthy, Smart Break is also an easy approach to working smart. After a few years in our own company we tested it in different environments before opening it for the public. After seeing the effects Smart Break had on the companies in our pilot programs, we determined that it hit three main points: improving office health culture, bringing people together, and economically beneficial.
