Recharging with Mindfulness

Abstract

I explore what mindfulness and meditation is and isn’t, debunking preconceived notions and explaining the key benefits that come as a result of adopting a mindfulness-based practice. I share how this set of skills can translate to how we lead our lives and counter negative stress. Practical and immediately implementable skills will aid in communication, practicing self compassion, recognizing patterns and opportunities where fostering connection can enhance well-being. Consistency is an important takeaway, adopting a new set of skills that can be built upon for life.
