Abstract
This study explores the correlation between the dynamic physical retail environment and its impact on staff productivity, well-being, and social and ecological sustainability. IKEA Bahrain was chosen to be the case study for this paper. Qualitative research strategies, such as (IPA, Interpretive Phenomenological Approach, In-Person Questionnaires, and Ethnographic Observation were utilized in this research. Sales Employees inside the organization were chosen as the research population and a sample of 12 members with various levels of seniority were talked with and welcomed to partake in an in-person questionnaire regarding their lived experience as company employees. The collected data was dissected using Martha Nussbaum’s 10 Central Capabilities Approach via a Spider Diagram. The outcomes demonstrate that retail workspaces have a noteworthy effect on employee productivity, performance, well-being, and on social and environmental sustainability.
