Urban Regeneration: A Tool for Neighbourhood Change at Castle Vale, Birmingham

Abstract

This investigation explores urban regeneration as a tool for neighbourhood change through the UK context. Using the case study of the successful Castle Vale regeneration in Birmingham, this report illuminates the utility of action planning through the lens of urban regeneration. A conceptual framework is used to evaluate the best practices and challenges experienced in Castle Vale’s transformation.
