Along with focusing on sustainability components, this study concentrates on three essential dimensions, such as the social, environmental, and functional aspects of parks. In this study, three quantitative and qualitative methods were used, including the SWOT method for presenting strategies in three dimensions of social, environmental, and functional and QSPM method for prioritizing strategies in park planning with sustainable development approach. The results of this study show that the hierarchical design of parks leads to the structural diversity of these types of spaces, which is useful in the accessibility and promotion of social performance and meeting the needs of a broader range of users. In the sustainable planning of urban parks, the scope of the plan should be considered concerning the surrounding areas, taking into account all physical, environmental, and social aspects.
