Abstract

Architecture changes definition of form by spatial definition, function, and construction system. Through time the development of screen and communication system keep continuing especially in a developing country where transportation infrastructure and public transport are not covered, the internet system fulfills the connection in many ways. At the same time, monitoring systems were developed and became reasonable for individuals to create activity and space for privacy usage. Then with the outbreak of covid-19, internet became one of infra-network of town. People get used to connection through network and the monitor become one of space in their house was used for many functions. This research considers the possibility of displaying monitor. and about the possibility in the future. It aims to support idea of possibility in architecture, that is happening in this changing period and the possibility in the future. The methodology includes a literature review, case study analysis, group discussion for scenario prediction. The research result is divided into 4 parts: 1. Timeline of relationship between displaying screen and space . 2.The possibility of new way of life and social system 3.Problem that is solved by displaying screen and communication system. 4. Possibility for new architecture. the screen come to be new material for creating space. This will change the spatial cognition, interaction, and material construction. At the same time, the displaying screen can be one part of connection hub that changes people’s habits.
