Abstract
This work analyzes how the game “Huni Kuin”, created to address the culture of the Kaxinawá indigenous people (or Huni Kuin, as they self-identify), is capable of developing students’ intercultural competence in the classroom, helping them understand and appreciate various cultures and perspectives. The game’s basis is to provide an immersion into the Huni Kuin universe, allowing players to engage with indigenous knowledge, such as chants, graphics, stories, myths, and rituals of this people. This facilitates the dissemination of these insights through a broader network.
