Learning through Digital Games: Learning Important Skills through the Process of Play

Abstract

I would like to host a multiplayer game which teaches important skills on leadership, project management, resource allocation, team work and communication. Players will interact with one another and through the process of Try-Fail-Adjust they will learn these important skills. Players will play the first round and likely fail. They will then reflect about their experience and realize critical learning. This will lead them to use their learning and apply it so they can perform better in the next round.
