Abstract
In times of digital ubiquity, we are invite to rethink the basic parameters upon which human relation is established. From the new schema of relation - through ICT mediated experience - emerges a new ethic and a new alterity. To do so, we refer to Vilém Flusser’s “black box” theory as well as Martin Buber’s works on dialogue and presence. In order to illustrate the theoretical ideas we propose, this paper analyses the “dating applications” phenomenon and their implications in the way humans interact.
