Abstract
EnerMaps is an H2020 research project aimed at improving data management and accessibility for the energy research industry and policy-makers with a focus on renewables and heating. EnerMaps consists of an Open Data Management Tool, with 50 enriched existing datasets, 5 calculation modules and a visualization interface for geolocalized data, and a Gateway that acts as a single entry-point to open-access scientific products around energy. The project is in the capacity-building phase, offering free practical training to potential users. The workshop follows this agenda: 1. Introduction to the project context, aim, and structure. 2. Data integration and the 50 enriched datasets in EnerMaps. 3. Demo of the Gateway. 4. Demo of the Calculation Modules: HeatLearn, District Heating Expected Potential, Heating Degree Days & Cooling Degree Days scenarios builder, Refurbish scenarios builder, Flexible Heating Load. 5. Interactive training: exercises on the calculation modules and the Gateway. 6. Q&A/Discussion
