Abstract
A key challenge for measuring environmental sustainability interventions in the commercial space, especially investments, is the accountability of these interventions. Greenwashing remains a key concern. We seek to address this through a real-time green asset index that tracks the impact of green investments into physical assets that are traditional heavy carbon emitters. We use IoT and machine learning for real-time measurement and prediction. Our showcase is focused on real estate but can be extended to any investible asset. The modelling is expected to be fine-tuned as it deals with more data. Initially, we use real data from a select set of assets in Singapore.
