Abstract
With the climate crisis that threatens to disrupt further the Philippine economy already weakened by the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a pressing need for the government and the business sector to collaborate in developing solutions that can forward a green economic recovery. This study examines the collaborative efforts that were undertaken by local government units (LGU) and private corporation participants in a fellowship program to co-create Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) solutions for coastal communities in the Philippines. This study also assesses the limitations of such public-private sector collaboration and further steps that would allow for social innovations to sustainably implement these types of arrangements.
