The initial draft had eight parameters namely; Considered, Modification, New Suggestion, Split, Merge, Upgrade, Degrade, and Rejected. The experts provided their input on these eight options along with subjective suggestions. The data so obtained was used to compute Lawshe’s content validity ratio (CVR). The first phase feedback suggested some modifications which were incorporated in second phase of feedback from the coaches. In second phase opinion of ten coaches were obtained and again CVR was computed which was .70. As per the lawshe’s criteria the scale had significant content validity at 5% level. This indicates that PERS is valid tool to rate women’s performance in volleyball.
