Concepts of barefoot training are evolving though its application to Sports is still limited in scope and implementation. To achieve our objectives, University athletes in sport of Basketball were selected and were administered barefoot and in-shoe training for specific range of movements required in the sport. The results of our study has shown positive response to barefoot training in terms of agility and balance performance indicators. Though small in magnitude of change, the study has opened up avenues for further expansion in studying training responses by virtue of training barefoot.
