Arabian Issues In Documentary Films: A Comparative Study

Abstract

This study seeks to understand to what extent documentary films include topics related to Arabian issues. The study compares media in countries according to how they present Arabian issues through producing documentary films. The study depends on the Cultivation Theory, and the content analysis form is applied to a sample of ten documentary films per country (Egypt – Morocco – Palestine – Qatar). In total, the study analyzed the content of total forty documentary films featuring Arabian issues.
