Abstract
This study uses ethnographic and autoethnographic methods to explore the ways lifestyle blogs create and share culture using narrative and multimedia. Specifically, this study focuses on the blogs of LGBT+ people of color, and attempt to draw conclusions on how cultural markers in this community develop narratives of the community itself. Blogs include The G-Listed, Trans Griot, The Mad Professah Lectures, and the Black Lesbian Love Lab archives, as well as the presenter’s own blogging experience.
