Abstract
The news about corruption is always coloring the news in various Indonesian media, both print and electronic. Almost in every media there is news of corruption cases involving a number of parties both from the general environment and government officials. Until now, corruption can not be eliminated, even the news of alleged corruption cases are even more intense with the number of cases continuing to grow. With discourse analysis, the author explores the discourse of “Tempo” magazine in reporting corruption in Setya Novanto in the October-November 2017 issue. This research uses the theory of critical discourse analysis, This research method is descriptive qualitative. The target of this research is to illuminate the discourse of “Tempo” magazine in reporting corruption in Setya Novanto in the issue October-November 2017.
