Abstract

Pagtutuyo is a dried-fish making activity in the coastal areas of Pamarawan Island in the city of Malolos, Bulacan. The study shares the traditional manner of fish drying preparation of women fisherfolks that sustain from a long period of time. Various research methods like qualitative, quantitative, ethnographic, focus group discussion, face-to-face interview and ground theory were applied in data gathering to come up with a comprehensive results. The preliminary output of the study reveals that the procedure of dried-fish making enterprise was improved, flourished, preserved, and sustained.
