An Interconnected World with a Bulge on One End: Food Access through Historical Context and Solution Building

Abstract

An interactive and participatory workshop to conceptualize and contextualize parts of the global food and resources crisis as a result of imperial and colonial influence. We explore not only some of the methods that were used in import and export routes that are still used to this day, but also examine and brainstorm possible strategies and solutions to overcome these adversities. Together we will draw maps of the past and present, place ourselves in new contexts and build solutions that are multi-facetted. Please join me on an exploration and group think to empower informed action.
