The Missionary Activity of the "Trinitas" YouTube Channel

Abstract

YouTube has become the virtual space where many people spend hours on end watching content. It only makes sense that the Church should enculturate its teachings there. As today’s society is shifting more and more towards a hybrid lifestyle (people spend more and more hours of their lives in the digital space), Christians may focus their missionary activity in this area too. This paper centers on the impact, type of content and strategies used by the “Trinitas” YouTube channel from publicly available data. It points out what works and what does not on the platform and what religious content is concerned. It also offer an explanation as to why some strategies work and others do not.
