Description

Santiago Manzarbeitia Valle received a Ph.D. in History of Art from UCM (1997) for his thesis La pintura mural medieval en torno al Alto Campoo(Palencia, 2001). He was awarded the Outstanding Doctorate Prize 1996/97. He has been a Lecturer at the Department of the History of Art at UCM since 2010. Before that, he was a Tenured Lecturer (2003) and Associate Lecturer (2001) in the same department. He was Lecturer at the Ortega y Gasset University Institute (1989-2003). Since 2012 he has been a member of the UCM University Institute for Religious Studies in the Philosophy Faculty, where he teaches classes for the Master’s Degree in Religious Studies. He was hired by the Prado Museum to update the Prado Museum Database (1995) and by the Madrid Regional Department of Culture for the Inventory of Property of the Diocese of the Region of Madrid (1991).
