Abstract
The focus of the paper will be on the troubles created by the equation of the metaphysics of a Western Man. In South post-1994, the relationship between the troubles of cultic practices and the deification of democracy is palpable. There is a relationship between the cutlic rituals, living death among the impoverished and the religion of a Euro Magic Man. This discourse as the paper will argue, is given currency by the Graeco-Latin African Man.
